                                             In the month of may every year Sri lanka celebrates Wesak full moon in a very special manner.

During this time people celebrate the triple anniversary of lord Buddha-his birth,his attaining of enlightenment and his passing away into Nirvana.🙏🙏

colourful bamboo-framed lanterns adorn the interior of every home and luminous dispalys decorate the streets of most twons.visit Bhauddoloka Mawatha,the main street in colombo,to catch this glowing spectacle in full glory.

                                  

                                   

vesak marks the first month of the buddhist calendar.This is a day spent in reflective prayer as people cease worldly pursuits and engage themselves in religious activities.

Devoted Buddhists pray in temples from dawn until dusk.As the sun sets,devotees partake in processions and return to the temples in the evening to hear monks read stories from sacred texts. 

Roadside stalls distribute free refreshments to passers-by and there are mime and street theatre performances,staged on tall platforms near temple in cities and towns throughout the country

 💧 everyone has some favourite game.I am interested in many sports.but my favourite game is volleyball becouse it is very interesting game. 💧Not only that ,volleyball is the national game in sri lanka. 💧 It is a team game which consists of six players in a team. it is played by both men and women as an indoor or an outdoor game. 💧 but it is moslty played as an outdoor game.it is played in a rectangular court. 💧 we need volleyball and a net to play this game. 💧 we can score by grounding the ball in the opposing team's court. 💧 The game ends after scoring 25 points by a team.volleyball is also a very good exercise to our healthy body. 💧 Every day we play volleyball with our friends in the evening because it is my favourite game.💓💓💓
