My Favourite Author

                 I have read many books.They have been written by different authors.Among all of them,my favourite author is late Mr.Martin Wickramsinghe.He is know as the greatest ever Sinhalese writer.He was born in 1890 in Koggala in Galle.

He got his primary education in galle but couldn't continue his further education.After that he had to do a job at the age of sixteen.

Mr.Wickramasinghe has written many novels and short stories.His writing style is very simple.so any people can enloy reading his books.He published nine short story books."wahallu"is the one of the most famous story.


                                     he has written many novels like Rohini,gamperaliya,Kaliyugaya,Yuganthaya,Madolduwa and many other but his most popular novel is Gamperaliya.


Madolduwa is also very popular novel specially among children.Apart from that,he wrote books on Sinhala culture and Buddhism also.

He was not only an author.he was a journalist too.He has worked as the editor of some newspapers like Dinamina.He has written in english too.Some of his novels have been translated in to several foreign languages.He has done priceless service for Sinhala literature.

Therefore he is ever remembered by every Sri lankan.

 💧 everyone has some favourite game.I am interested in many sports.but my favourite game is volleyball becouse it is very interesting game. 💧Not only that ,volleyball is the national game in sri lanka. 💧 It is a team game which consists of six players in a team. it is played by both men and women as an indoor or an outdoor game. 💧 but it is moslty played as an outdoor game.it is played in a rectangular court. 💧 we need volleyball and a net to play this game. 💧 we can score by grounding the ball in the opposing team's court. 💧 The game ends after scoring 25 points by a team.volleyball is also a very good exercise to our healthy body. 💧 Every day we play volleyball with our friends in the evening because it is my favourite game.💓💓💓
